Hypocrisy

Christians should be Christian 24/7, why are you expected to count the minutes you give a witness to others?

The hypocrisy is evident when the Kingdom Ministry once responded to a question about family studies that said parents could only report 1 hour and 1 return visit for the family study per week, although the family head clearly spent much more time with his family as a Christian parent.

Hours = targets, and are used to differentiate between promotions eg Auxiliary Pioneer, Regular Pioneer, Special Pioneer etc.... And rather than trusting the workers they make them report so that low hours workers will be hounded by the elders etc. The whole shebang about counting your time made me sick.

JW's & eBay

i just came across a pair of jw's on ebay who are flogging off nearly 2000 "religious" items.. is it just me, or are jw's hypocrites when they make cash by selling old light publications which now contain "wrong teachings," or much worse, by selling books etc.

which were created by members of apostate christendom and contain teachings which contradict their self-appointed "faithful slave?

is there a bible example/principle here?.

I just looked at the link. Some of these items seem to be quite rare publications. Perhaps it's a fake front for the GB selling off their surplus WT library books to make money for their Sunday scotch fund?

I have to say that I firmly accept that the JW elders I knew followed the example described in the Bible when they gathered together for their meetings. I have no doubt whatsoever in my mind.

They copied the Pharisees with their nit-picking to a T.

after reading a few comments here, i thought it was time for me to get a copy of "the silver sword" for my own occasional research and occult practices.

so i thought i would see if jw.org would offer a way that i could purchase a printed copy (not digital) of the new world translation.

as i browsed, it occurred to me that i might also like to have a copy of the... what was it?

so i thought i would see if jw.org would offer a way that i could purchase a printed copy (not digital) of the new world translation.

as i browsed, it occurred to me that i might also like to have a copy of the... what was it?

I always thought it was a hoot that the Byington Bible translated John 1:1 as "the Word was God."

Don't you know that you can read the Byington Bible aka The Bible In Living English directly from the WT website?

Printed copies of the RNWT are available inside the Kingdom Halls. Just ask someone who attends to get you one. There's bound to be someone you know who is pimo.
